
Das Janssen
Das Janssen completed a doctorate in 2009 at Fordham University, New York, where he conducted research in dual areas of specialization: Phenomenology and Gender Studies. For the past seven years, he has served at Chicago State University, Chicago, IL, where he was awarded both tenure and early promotion to Associate Professor in 2015. Janssen's book, Phenomenal Gender, is forthcoming from Indiana University Press in Fall 2017.
Due to the budget crisis in Illinois, Dr. Janssen was one of nine tenured professors laid off by Chicago State University in July 2016.
